This International Women's Day we sat down with five members of our team from all departments, and asked them some questions around what motivates and inspires them, the year ahead, and juggling being a working mum! At KIVARI, we are a female founded and lead business, with an office full of inspiring mothers, sisters, daughters and friends.

What does limitless mean to you?
Limitless is a state of mind, an unwavering belief in the boundless potential that lies within each of us. It is the recognition that there are no boundaries or limitations to what we can achieve if we set our minds to it. With a limitless mindset, we embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and view obstacles as stepping stones on our path to success. This mindset has been instrumental in propelling the growth of Kivari, empowering us to push beyond our comfort zones and reach new heights, both personally and professionally. By embracing the power of limitless thinking, we continue to expand our horizons and unlock the endless possibilities that await us.
Almost 10 years old, KIVARI has grown so much over the past decade. What are some of your goals for the brand and the growing team this year?
Continued focus on sustainability, supporting the growth and development of our team, along with pushing the exciting evolution of the KIVARI brand.
1. Sustainability: We are dedicated to continuing to incorporate sustainable practices throughout our operations, from sourcing materials to manufacturing and packaging.
2. Growth and development: We aim to expand our brand presence and reach new markets, while continuously improving our products and services.
3. Innovation: We strive to push the boundaries of fashion by introducing new designs, materials, and techniques that reflect our customers' evolving preferences.
We are committed to continuing giving back to the community and supporting causes that align with our values, contributing to a better world.

What does limitless mean to you?
Limitless to me means, anything is possible! The only thing that limits us is our own minds. If you put your mind to it, truly believe in what you are doing, it is all possible. There is a sense of freedom to being limitless…nothing holding me back!
What are 3 pieces of advice you would give your younger self starting out in her career?
Very good question and a tough one to answer. I wouldn’t change my path or how I have gone about where I am. I have worked hard, had a limitless mindset and always been open to learning. I have always been self-aware and known what my downfalls are, and I work on these. But I would say… don’t be so hard on myself, bring myself back to the joyful self and freedom mindset that is naturally me!

What does limitless mean to you?
To me, limitless means endless possibilities, endless opportunity, and the excitement of an unknown path ahead.
What women in your life inspire your designs or creative concepts and why?
Being part of an all female team, in a female founded and run business, in an industry with no shortage of women, I am lucky enough to be surrounded by many inspiring women. I have learnt so much from all the women that I have crossed paths with throughout my career, I think each learning helps to inspire new ideas and concepts. Working in our design team at Kivari, bouncing ideas for new concepts amongst our team is one of my favourite parts about my role, where we can connect, collaborate and further inspire each other's ideas.

Limitless is having no boundaries, pushing yourself, infinite opportunities - anything is possible, you can do anything!
With a baby on the way, what about motherhood are you most excited for?
I'm really looking forward to this new chapter of my life - the role and all the challenges that come with motherhood. I can't wait for the bond and relationship with Chickpea. Having lost my mum when I was so young and not having her as a pillar in my life, I'm really excited to foster this connection.

For me limitless is without boundaries and pushing your capabilities. I think having a limitless view on life can be really inspiring.
What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt from the other women in your team?
We have such a beautiful team here at KIVARI and I have learnt so many things from the wonderful women here. Being one of the youngest members in the team, I look up to the KIVARI women as they have taught me to really believe in myself and push myself both in my career and life goals. The daily kindness and uplifting nature of the women in my team truly inspire me.
