KIVARI is an exciting and growing company inviting applications for a Designer to join the team.

About Us: KIVARI is a leading contemporary Women’s wear brand that delivers products designed with heart, personality, and Integrity. Founded in 2014, KIVARI is on track for successful growth through its journey to expand its global footprint through Retail, E-Commerce, and Wholesale channels.

About You: You will bring fresh concepts across multiple product categories for KIVARI. Collaborating closely with the Head of Design and design team, this role supports the creation of seasonal ranges aligned with KIVARI's DNA, including knitwear, cut-and-sew, and woven products. You are creative, collaborative, technical, resourceful and are passionate about quality and attention to deal. You are up to date on current and emerging fashion trends and fabrications. You might be a Junior Designer looking for the next step in your career working with several extremely talented members of the KIVARI Design team.

 

Responsibilities:

Design

· Designing commercial Capsules within the seasonal ranges with sustainable practices.

· Create initial hand sketches and detailed technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator.

· Create clear, detailed technical specification packs.

· Ensure all fabrications, trims, lab dips, and approvals from concept through to production are of the highest quality.

Timelines

· Follow the company Critical Path to meet seasonal deadlines.

Collaboration

· Work closely with the design team, textile designers, product developer, and suppliers to maintain KIVARI standards.

· Work closely with buying and marketing teams to ensure smooth handover and clear communication.

Fits

· Attend all fits relevant to your category to ensure high standards are always achieved.

Product Knowledge & Market Analysis

· Provide product details for online copywriting.

· Monitor trends and competitors to identify new styles, fabrics, and price points.

Design Processes

·Manage the Design tracker and complete design-related admin tasks aligned with the Critical Path

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor Degree in Design or Fine Arts, or College Degree in Fashion Design or related field

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel

· Highly proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator (Adobe Suite) and other relevant design packages

· Ability to travel for research and product development

· Ability to sketch by hand / procreate

· Excellent design and conceptual skills

· Excellent sense of style and colour

· Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to meet multiple deadlines

· General commitment to Global Sustainability
